As reported by local media The government  took  forty eight hours after the disaster to respond, but the  Pakistani TV channels ignore the negligence of  the authority and instead spreading wrong information.  Historically the subject area known as Atabad in Hunza Valley,  there are also several prehistoric megaslides which once blocked the Hunza and remained stable dams for decades or centuries.
